Army Museum of Kerman
Army is part of the social makeup of every country. Army is for ensuring people of their security against any possible external threat. Iranian army has shown many brave actions on the battleground. A museum in Kerman Province is devoted to the army.

Army Museum in Kerman Province was opened in 2009 in the old gymnasium of Army that is a century old. This historical monument is of a total area of 800 square meters and has no column. This museum contains more than 4000 military items dating back to Qajar Era gathered from such provinces as Zahidan, Tehran, Ahwaz and Gorgan. Moreover, there are 50 pictures of Supreme Leader in war time, 50 pictures of the invasion of Iraqi regime in 1980, documents of martyrdom of Kerman people, last wills and remnants of the personal things of the martyrs, two precious paintings of more than 100 years of history.

Army Museum is an appropriate example of collaboration of other organizations with the General Office of Cultural Heritage in Kerman. This collaboration has proved to be a good example of giving value to the cultural heritages of the province. The result of this action has been the creation of a space the interesting application of which caught the attention of the fans of cultural heritage. Addition of Army Museum to other tourist destinations and attractions of Kerman Province is the other sign of cultural and historical values of this extensive province.
