Chinese culture minister congratulates his Iranian counterpart
China’s minister of culture and tourism in a message addressed to the new Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Mehdi Esmaili congratulated his appointment to this post and asked for broader cultural relations between the two countries.

Tehran, SAEDNEWS: “I received the blissful news of your good self’s being appointed as the minister of culture and Islamic guidance. On behalf of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China, and on my own behalf, I congratulate your honor, and from the bottom of my heart hope you will achieve glorious success in your new position,” wrote the Chinese minister.

“China and Iran, as two countries with old civilizations with ancient civilizations, have always played important and precious roles in growth and progress of the human civilization. During the recent years and after the expansion of comprehensive, strategic relations between China and Iran, the cultural exchanges and the level of cooperation between the two sides has been improving and has borne precious fruits, too,” he added.

The Chinse culture minister also referred to the 50th anniversary of official establishment of ties between Iran and China in the year 2021 and the phone call of the Chinese President Xi Jinping to President Ebrahim Raisi on the occasion for expansion of comprehensive strategic ties in a finely designed plan.

“Quite willfully, I am ready to cooperate with you and inspired by the guidance of the high ranking officials of both countries, taking advantage of the appropriate opportunity, which has emerged on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of official relations, I ask for the strengthening and improvement of the bases of our cultural ties, so that our two countries’ cultural cooperation will enter a new era,” he concluded (Source: IRNA).
