Tehran, SAEDNEWS: Amirabdollahian said in a tweet on Wednesday that he has received a congratulation call from British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab where, among other issues, he has urged the UK to pay its ‘old debt to Iran’ arising from a cancelled arms sales deal.
The tweet reads:
Receiving a cong call from FM @DominicRaab, expressed readiness for dialogue based on mutual respect; denounced EU's inaction under JCPoA; condemned US-made disaster in Afghanistan & reiterated on need to form inclusive gov; & emphasized that UK's old debt to Iran must be repaid (Source: IRNA).
