Tehran, SAEDNEWS: The 229th session of economic coordination headquarters was held today chaired by President Rouhani. A report on the measures to fight the economic implications of the pandemic in the last Persian year (March 2020-March 2021) was presented in the meeting.
Given that coronavirus-related financial aids offerings to businesses were approved, proposals on how to continue the process in the new year (March 2021-March 2022) were raised.
Rouhani pointed to the heavy consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic that came amid all-out economic war, saying that the administration has protected families and businesses, despite financial restrictions and currency-related issues, and would continue to back COVID-19 stricken people and businesses (Source: IRNA).
