Iran logs 379 COVID deaths in 24 hrs
Iran's Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 379 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 117,905.

Tehran, SAEDNEWS: According to the latest definitive laboratory findings on September 21, 2021, the number of Iranian people diagnosed positive for the COVID -19 from the beginning of the pandemic reaches 5,459,796 while 4,819,223 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 17,564 cases, out of whom 2,581 patients were hospitalized.

6,661 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 31,223,048 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 57 cities are red, 238 are orange, and 136 are yellow zones, and 17 cities are in a blue zone.

So far, 31,358,485 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 14,416,851 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 45,775,336 doses (Source: IRNAPRESS).
