Iran National Football Team Veteran Mehrdad Minavand Dies of COVID-19
Mehrdad Minavand, a veteran of the Iranian national football team and Persepolis Club, died of the Coronavirus. Minavand was hospitalized for almost two weeks in ICU because of his breathing problems and the massive lung failure.

Tehran, SAEDNEWS, Jan. 28: Minavand has been hospitalized for the past few days due to a Coronavirus infection. He was diagnosed with lung failure and many interventions including intubation were done but none of them could save the renowned footballer. Minavand died at the age of 45.
