Iran possesses strong series production industry: French actor
French Actor François Ozsvath has described Iran-made series as good and strong, noting that he is a fan of some Iranian series.

Tehran, SAEDNEWS: Ozsvath also known as François Hussain told IRNA on Sunday that he played the role of a chef in Iranian series Dastpokht (Culinary Arts) because he spent 30 years as a master chef in restaurants.

He is honored to work with Mehran Modiri, a renowned Iranian film-maker, in Iranian series such as Dracula. The French actor also starred in other Iranian series directed by Sirous Moghaddam and Javad Afshar.

Winning international awards by Iranians at important festivals makes him happy, he said, adding that there are many artists and actors who should find opportunities to star in good stories.

The best role that he played was the role of Gilaad in Sarjukeh (Sergeant) directed by Ahmad Moazzemi, the French actor mentioned.

He further said that being an actor is very interesting and attractive to him and that he enjoys working with professional teams.

Pointing to his experiences, Ozsvath said that his parents were army personnel and he himself served in the French Army, then he decided to follow his second hobby that was cooking.

The French actor also noted he is a fan of cinema and that the cooking profession provided him with an opportunity to turn into an actor.

Ozsvath expressed hope that he would grasp the opportunity of working with great Iranian actors, thanking the Iranian people for their kindness.

On watching Persian movies, he said that he cannot understand Persian Language, but he sometimes spends time to watch Iranian films translated into English.
