Iranian, Russian FMs discuss Vienna talks
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov in a telephone conversation on Monday exchanged views on progress in the ongoing talks between the Islamic Republic and the Group 4+1 in Vienna on removal of Washington's unlawful sanctions against Tehran.

Tehran, SAEDNEWS: Amirabdollahian and Lavrov emphasized the need for the revival of the nuclear deal to its initial balanced status as the UN Security Council had confirmed.

The two foreign ministers reiterated that the only way to secure all sides’ rights is full commitment to the JCPOA.

Amirabdollahian and Lavrov also discussed bilateral and regional issues in their phone talk.

The Vienna negotiations aimed at removal of the unlawful sanctions imposed by the US against the Iranian nation are pursued under such conditions that the mainstream media and the Zionist regime have intensified spread of fake news and propaganda against Iran and also the progress gained in the negotiations, as well as good cooperation between Iran and the IAEA.

The new round of Iran’s nuclear talks with world powers began on Thursday, December 9 at the JCPOA Joint Commission.

Right after the end of the joint commission the delegations began working on the texts aimed at decreasing disputes.

The 3rd expert executive workgroup was held on Monday (Source: IRNA).
