There lies one of the largest and most spectacular dams of Iran in 13 kilometers of Plur called Lar. Numerous fountains of this region and diverse types of animals and vegetation allow us to see flamingos and partridges as well as leopards and mountain goats. Moreover, part of Lar national park is located in Amol County of Mazandaran Province and its other part is in Lavasanat division of Shemiran County in Tehran Province.
