Tehran, SAEDNEWS: The Iranian commander made the remarks during a meeting in Tehran with his visiting Pakistani counterpart Admiral Mohammad Amjad Khan Niazi.
Referring to strategic relations between the naval forces of Iran and Pakistan, the commander said that the two forces have staged different joint naval maneuvers over the past years.
He urged the need for contribution of the naval forces of both countries to establishment of security, in particular in the North Indian Ocean.
The Pakistani navy commander is scheduled to visit the naval fleet deployed in Iran's northern waters (Source: IRNA).
