Saymarih River is made of the combination of two rivers of Qara Su and Gamasyab on the border of Ilam and Lorestan. This river stretches up to the end of Karkheh and is 650 kilometers long. Saymarih River is one of the most famous places that exist in Ilam Province. For almost half of the history of Ilam is reminding the name of Ilam. There is also Saymarih Dam in this place which is several months now that it is filled with water.
