Senior MP says Iran to not let others decide for the country
A senior lawmaker at Majlis (Iranian Parliament) has said that Iran is after result-oriented talks and will not let others decide "for us."

Tehran, SAEDNEWS: The West tries to keep Iran waiting, which creates problem for investment and economic stability, but Tehran is after reaching outcome at the talks, Mahmoud Abbaszadeh Meshkini told IRNA in an interview.

Meshkini, who is the spokesman of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, referred to direct talks at the level of foreign ministers between Iran and US before reaching the 2015 nuclear deal and said the United States was not loyal to its commitments.

He went on to say that the Europe which was practically in coordination with the US helped moving towards increase in maximum pressure on the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Referring to resumption of Vienna talks as of November 29 in the Austrian capital, the lawmaker said that the other sides have not shown any determination to lift the sanctions yet.

Instead, they have tried their best to make Iran concede, he added.

Meanwhile, he noted that he is sure that the Western side desists from its stance as Iran's stance is transparent and legitimate and the country insists on the nation rights.

At his remarks, the lawmaker called on the Iranian negotiators to be vigilant against marginal issues.

As he noted, the Iranian Foreign Ministry has predicted all scenarios and the current procedure is very wise, logical, and promising.
