South Korean PM Due in Iran Sunday
Prime Minister of South Korea Chung Sye-kyun is going to visit Iran on Sunday, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Saeed Khatibzadeh said.

Tehran, SAEDNEWS: The Iranian spokesman said the South Korean premier will travel to Iran for a two-day visit. Chung is planned to meet a number of Iranian officials and discuss bilateral issues including the unlawful restrictions that have blocked the Central Bank of Iran’s access to its assets in South Korea, Khatibzadeh said.

"Technical arrangements are being made by the two countries to finalize the details of the visit," he added.

During his stay in Tehran, the South Korean prime minister will hold talks with Iran’s First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, and Ali Larijani, an adviser to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the spokesman said.

On Friday, Iran released a South Korean-flagged tanker it had seized in January.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry said the prosecutor that had ordered the detention of the vessel granted its captain and the South Korean government’s request to release it after judicial investigations were completed (Source: Tasnim).
