Supreme Leader: Cowards Are Not Allowed to Speak of Rationality
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei says Tehran will continue to resist the US' criminal sanctions, making Washington feel regret.

Tehran, SAEDNEWS, Oct. 12: Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic of Iran made the remarks on Monday at the joint graduation ceremony for the cadets studying in the academies of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Armed Forces, held this morning (Monday) via videoconferencing between Ayatollah Khamenei - the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces - and the commanders and certain military units who were present in the event. The event was held in Imam Ali (PBUH) Officer’s Academy with only a number of the exemplary units from the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army, the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) and Police in attendance due to special conditions caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.

"Cowards are not allowed to speak of rationality because rationality in the sense of correct calculation is good but the enemy tries to abuse this notion and some triators inside the country are decieved by the enemy and repeat the words of the enemy", Ayatollah Khamenei stated. "The enemy", Supreme Leader continued, "seeks to interpret rationality as passivity and cowardice and inaction while rationality while dodging and fear do not have anything to do with rationality". Supreme Leader strongly insisted on resistence before the pressures leveled by the enemy. "Economic conditions are tough and the people are living under pressure but all problems can be solved", Ayatollah Khamenei stated.

Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic of Iran once again thanked the medical staff and healthcare system for their sacrifice and efforts for saving lives amid the pandemic. "I have repeatedly reminded the President and the health officials that COVID19 measures should be exercised by executive force and must be mandatory otherwise many lives would be exposed to danger", Ayatollah Khamenei noted.
