Psychological warfare won't disrupt Iran's peaceful nuclear activity: AEOI chief
Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Mohammad Eslami said on Tuesday that Iran would continue its nuclear activities to leverage the technology in all aspects of people’s lives, including in medicine, agriculture, environment, and industry, adding that psychological warfare will not disrupt Iran's peaceful nuclear activities.

Tehran, SAEDNEWS: In response to a question about the latest process of cooperation between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) - regarding some recent claims- Eslami told IRNA that any cooperation between Iran and the IAEA should be based on the framework of laws, safeguards agreements and the NPT.

Within the framework of these rules, we maintain our ties with the IAEA, and the IAEA monitors Iran's nuclear activities in accordance with the rules and regulations, he added.

He further noted that what is claimed in the media and news is related to psychological warfare and political issues.

we are fighting psychological warfare that does not support the scientific and technological development of the Islamic Republic of Iran in any way, and with these accusations, machination, and psychological warfare, it induces that the Islamic Republic has an unjustified goal and is not committed to non-proliferation.

Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran added that none of these accusations have ever been reported and they are accusations incited by the Zionist regime, and this psychological warfare will not disrupt Iran's peaceful nuclear activity.

In response to another question about Iran's cooperation with the IAEA on the issue of the Karaj nuclear facility, the AEOI chief said that the issue of Karaj and other cases that were in JCPOA is not in the safeguards agreements (Source: IRNA).
